Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Balch Springs Concrete, balchspringsconcrete.com, support@balchspringsconcrete.com

Accepting these terms

These terms cover your use of the Balch Springs Concrete website and any estimate, proposal or work you get from us. By using the site, asking for an estimate or hiring us, you agree to them, so please read them before you book. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or schedule work with us.

When we sign a written contract or proposal for your job, that document controls wherever it differs from these terms. These terms fill in anything the contract doesn't cover.

The services we offer

Balch Springs Concrete is a concrete contractor in Balch Springs, TX. We pour and finish driveways, patios, sidewalks, garage floors, pool decks, steps, slabs, footings and other flatwork, which covers the flat concrete around a house. We also do decorative and stamped concrete, retaining walls, foundation work and concrete cutting. You can see the full list on our home page and read more about our crew on the About page.

The descriptions on this site are general. The work we'll actually do on your property is what your written estimate or contract says, because every yard, slope and soil condition is different.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free, done in person and come with no obligation. We look at the area, the dirt the slab will sit on, where the water runs and how we'll get equipment in, because those things drive the price as much as the size of the pour does.

An estimate is based on what we can see that day. If we dig out and find soft or wet ground, old concrete, roots, buried debris or anything else we couldn't see, we'll stop, show you and agree on any change in price or scope with you before we go further. Material prices can change, so an estimate is good for the period written on it.

Prices on this site, if any appear, are general information and not an offer. Your price is the one in your signed estimate or contract.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We set your start date when you approve the estimate, and we'll tell you if anything moves it. Rain, freezing nights and very hot afternoons can push a pour back, because concrete placed in bad weather can end up weak on top, and we'd rather wait a day than pour a slab that won't last.

Curing is the wait after the pour while concrete hardens enough to walk or drive on. We'll tell you how long to stay off your new slab, and damage from using it early isn't covered.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (214) 286-6733 as early as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered materials or started work, you'll owe for the materials and labor already used, along with any other cancellation terms in your contract.

Your part of the job

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area and to tell us about anything buried that we should know about, like sprinkler lines, septic parts, drain pipes or private utility lines. We'll have public utilities marked before we dig, but private lines on your side are yours to point out, and we aren't responsible for damage to lines nobody told us about.

You're responsible for knowing where your property lines are and for any approval your homeowners association requires. Some concrete work needs a city permit, so ask your city before we start if you're not sure. Unless your contract says we'll handle a permit, getting it is up to you.

Payment

Your contract lists the payment schedule, including any deposit due before we order materials and the balance due when the job is done. Payment is due on the dates the contract gives.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid and use the remedies Texas law allows, including a lien on the property. Ownership of materials stays with us until they're paid for in full.

Warranties and what they don't cover

We stand behind our work, and any written warranty for your job is the one in your contract. Nothing else, spoken or on this site, adds to it.

Concrete can crack, and some small cracks are normal even on a well-built slab. We cut control joints, which are planned grooves that give the slab a place to crack where you won't notice it, but we can't promise a slab will never crack. Hairline cracks, small color differences, and wear from salt, chemicals, heavy trucks, tree roots, soil movement, poor drainage you control or use before the slab has cured aren't defects.

Except for the written warranty in your contract and any warranty Texas law requires, our work and this website are provided as they are, with no other warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

We're licensed and insured, and we'll fix problems our work causes under the terms of your contract. To the extent Texas law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, like lost use of your driveway, lost rental income or damage caused by things outside our control, such as storms, flooding or ground movement.

Our total liability for any claim about a job won't be more than the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't let us limit.

Resolving disputes

If something about your job isn't right, call us first, because most problems get settled faster with a look at the slab than with paperwork. If we can't work it out, we both agree to try mediation before going to court.

If a dispute still isn't settled, it will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Dallas County, Texas, and you and Balch Springs Concrete both agree to those courts.

Governing law

These terms, your use of this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted here is the one that applies. Changes won't affect a contract you've already signed unless we both agree in writing.

If one part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
